Green Community Service

Free secure shredding is a green initiative provided by Office Paper Systems and is one of the many ways in which we support our community and environment.

All of the fiber processed at our facility will return to market as a recycled product. Our commitment to increasing recycling and keeping recyclable material out of our waste streams has driven us to develop relationships and support organizations throughout the entire DC metro area.

Did you know that recycled paper is used in the production of over 5000 different products? Writing paper, napkins, tissue and packaging are some of the more common uses for recycled paper but manufacturers also use it to make products like dust masks, egg cartons, masking tape and coffee filters.
